One Mortgage System announces API integration with Evolution Money

One Mortgage System (OMS) has completed a full application programming interface (API) integration with second charge mortgage lender, Evolution Money.

The move will see OMS users given direct access to Evolution Money’s second charge mortgage product range to carry out a full decision in principle, without the need to rekey any data.

OMS suggested this will incorporate a full two-way API to help support and speed up the advice process, sourcing and delivery.

Evolution Money, a Manchester-based second charge mortgage lender, has lent more than £260m to over 26,500 customers in the UK. The firm supports a network of intermediaries and brokers to deliver lending solutions in the second charge marketplace.

OMS is the only end-to-end mortgage system which covers product areas such as residential, buy-to-let, equity release, bridging, as well as the second charge mortgage space.

“As competition continues to heat up across the second charge sector, we are seeing an increasing number of lenders utilise technology to streamline their propositions, bolster their options and better service the needs of a wider array of borrowers and intermediaries,” commented OMS managing director, Neal Jannels.

“Evolution Money is an exceptionally tech-savvy lender which is already leading the way by embedding AI and machine-learning into the heart of its processes to offer advisers – and its clients – access to better products and to make stronger, more informed credit-risk decisions.

“This certainly made our job easier when it came to the actual integration and this tech focus will ensure that it’s a relationship which will flourish now and in the future.”

Evolution Money head of strategic partnerships, Jim Robinson, added: “Technology does not stand still. As a lender, we have to constantly re-evaluate our proposition to find new ways to leverage and build new technological advancement so we can streamline our online digital acquisition, including the application process for our partners and customers.

“Thanks to the skills of both development teams, setting this up was a seamless process and this certainly bodes well for our ongoing relationship.”
