The Cambridge Building Society joins SimplyBiz Mortgages panel

The Cambridge Building Society has joined SimplyBiz Mortgages as part of its lender panel.

Members of SimplyBiz Mortgages can now access The Cambridge’s residential and buy-to-let mortgage range for properties across England and Wales with immediate effect.

SimplyBiz Mortgages supports more than 4,000 active intermediaries with their mortgage needs and provides additional value by delivering regulatory and business support to directly authorised advisers, an important factor in the current climate and with the imminent embedding of Consumer Duty.

Intermediary manager at The Cambridge, Kathy Bowes, said: “We are delighted to add SimplyBiz Mortgages as a partner mortgage club and believe our addition to its panel will provide even more choice for advisers, especially for those looking for solutions for trickier cases that benefit from human made decisions and individual underwriting.”

Head of lender relations at SimplyBiz Mortgages, Philip Daffern, added: “We have wanted to add The Cambridge to our panel for some time and as with any relationship, it’s a case of waiting until the time is right for both parties.

“That time has now arrived and as our markets and client scenarios reflect more complex situations which are challenging for all parties involved in the provision of home finance.

“Advisers are looking for the support of lenders like The Cambridge to help provide positive lending solutions that take into account all aspects of a case making rounded lending decisions based on the individual.”
