Thameside Associates extends relationship with Stonebridge

Mortgage and protection brokerage, Thameside Associates, has announced a long-term extension to its partnership with network, Stonebridge.

The move will continue a relationship of 10 years and also see Thameside develop its management function to support a larger operation.

Thameside currently operates with 16 advisers and six administrators, with 15 of the adviser team self-employed and the administrators providing tailored support across the business.

Stonebridge, one of the largest independent mortgage and protection networks in the UK, has arranged over £17bn of mortgage lending in the last 12 months. The network has over 200 employees and is responsible for authorising and supervising over 1,400 advisers across the UK.

The extended partnership will see Thameside continue to leverage Stonebridge’s technology platform, Revolution, as well as its compliance, operational and business development support.

Thameside director, Mark Noe, said: “We enjoy a strong relationship with Stonebridge and value the hands-on support and guidance the network provides. We’ve extended our partnership because it gives us the certainty and confidence that we have the right support in place as we look to scale the business.

“We’ve built a strong team and a solid platform for growth, and we’re excited to be expanding the number of advisers. We will also be strengthening the management team to eliminate any growing pains as we target higher turnover.”

Chief executive at Stonebridge, Rob Clifford, added: “Thameside is a great example of an ambitious, well-run firm with clear growth plans. I have worked alongside its current owners and predecessors for over a decade and we are delighted that Stonebridge is continuing our partnership and supporting the business as it looks to expand.”
