SimplyBiz appoints Pension Works to transfer panel

SimplyBiz has announced the appointment of Pension Works to the panel of its Pension Transfer Bureau.

The Bureau was created to provide an outsourced referral solution for advisers who are either unable or have opted not to operate in the defined benefits (DB) transfer market, but still want to fulfil the needs of their clients in this area.

Over the last nine months, SimplyBiz has provided a range of educational, regulatory and support material – including guides, events, bulletins and a documentation online hub – to help its members advise in the pension transfer market.

SimplyBiz compliance director, Gary Kershaw, commented: “It is absolutely vital that clients are given the most suitable advice for their individual circumstances. Most of the time, the most suitable course of action won’t be a DB pension transfer, however, it’s absolutely imperative that the client has specialist and experienced guidance to help them explore their options and, when appropriate, conduct their business.

“We’ve conducted extensive due diligence on all of the partners which make up the Bureau panel, to ensure they can continue to provide the very highest quality of service to any referred clients.”

The move means Pension Works joins Grove Pension Solutions, Pensionhelp, Pension Income Planning, P&B Wealth and Aviva Financial Advice on the Bureau panel.

“Having worked with SimplyBiz over the past five years, we're delighted to now be a part of their DB Bureau,” added Pension Works head of business development, Will King.

“Pension Works has worked tirelessly to carefully build our state of the art DB advice process, accompanied by a world class customer experience.

“We continually strive to become ever better at what we do in delivering a service that exceeds expectations, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to work closely with the great businesses who are members of SimplyBiz.”
