VouchedFor has announced a number of new product features and an upcoming consumer advertising campaign, as part of three ‘pledges’ to the advice profession. Each pledge is supported by commitments to deliver new product features, content and marketing initiatives. The product features include alerts that will show individual users of Elevation – VouchedFor’s enhanced client survey – the monetary figure of the hidden revenue opportunities in each piece of client feedback. As a result, firms using Elevation will also be able to track which advisers have reviewed and actioned the risks and opportunities they’re alerted to.

Paradigm has launched the latest iteration of its mortgage market insight videos, a series of short interviews with leading personnel looking at how they view the market in Q1 2024, and what they expect to see through the rest of 2024. First launched in 2023, the three special edition insight videos include interviews between Paradigm’s director of mortgages, Richard Howes, head of intermediary relationships at Coventry for Intermediaries, Jonathan Stinton, OSB Group’s head of distribution, Emily Hollands, and head of strategic partnerships at Lloyds Banking Group, Claire Cherrington. Each interview covers the individual’s views on how the intermediary mortgage market might play out in Q1 2024.

Aspen Bridging finished 2023 by completing a £2.8m development exit bridge on a 14-unit development of houses in New Romney, Kent. Completed in 20 days at 70% LTV, the project consists of a mix of two and three bed semi-detached and detached houses, both open market and affordable units, totalling over 15,000 square feet. The developer required the loan to exit their existing facility and create an extended marketing and sales period, which will generate around £4m. The deal was completed on the lender’s stepped rate product, starting at 0.65% over 12 months, and was taken from start-to-finish by senior underwriter at Aspen Bridging, Laura Randall.
