Paragon Bank has increased the maximum loan limits across its buy-to-let (BTL) mortgage range and has also removed minimum income requirements for portfolio landlords. As a result, its maximum loan limits now start from £800,000 at 80% LTV, £1.2m at 75% LTV and £1.7m at 70% LTV. For individuals with three or fewer mortgaged BTL properties, Paragon has introduced a new maximum loan of up to £2m at 65% LTV. For individuals with four or more mortgaged BTL properties, limited companies and applications for HMOs or multi-unit blocks, the maximum for 65% LTV remains unchanged at £4m. Furthermore, Paragon has also removed the minimum income requirement for landlords who own four or more BTL properties, which previously stood at £25,000.

Alternative Bridging Corporation has strengthened its broker support team by recruiting Thomas Gough as case manager. As part of his new role, Gough will help to progress applications efficiently from offer to completion, ensuring brokers continue to receive consistent communication. He will join from West One, where he managed loan completions and regulated and unregulated lending. This involved liaising with solicitors, underwriters and brokers to ensure deals progressed compliantly.

GB Bank has launched a new redeveloped website, which aims to better serve both intermediaries and customers. The bank stated that its transformation reflects its commitment to delivering tailored financial solutions. The new site showcases GB Bank’s lending and savings product propositions, with a focus on supporting the intermediary sector. Key features include a key lending criteria on each of its product propositions, a comprehensive FAQs section, a new lending enquiry form supported by a smart AI powered chatbot and tailored solutions for residential, semi-commercial and commercial property investments. It has also improved its savings section for direct customers by redesigning its interface and allowing savers to manage their accounts both online and via the GB Bank mobile app.
