Santander UK has launched its My First Mortgage product, which is available at 98% LTV to support first-time buyers. The product allows first-time buyers to invest with a minimum deposit of £10,000 and a maximum deposit of £500,000. The mortgage is available on existing houses and can be claimed via a broker or through Santander’s own advice service.

Bank of Ireland for Intermediaries has made a range of enhancements across its residential mortgage product range to strengthen its offerings. The bank said its changes reflect its commitment to supporting brokers and their clients to achieve their homebuying and ownership ambitions. The enhancements include its maximum term extending to 40 years across its standard product range, maximum loan to income rising to five times income for single applicants, LTV increasing to 80% for residential new build house s and 85% for residential new build apartments.

United Trust Bank (UTB) has launched a new range of deposit accounts specifically designed to cater for Trustee customers. The range includes the easy access trustee reserve deposit account paying 0.5% Gross/AER interest and a variety of fixed term Trustee Bonds and a 10-day notice account. The accounts have no additional administration fees often associated with Trustee savings account. The account can be managed online, over the phone or by post, and it has a limit of £10,000 for each payment.
