The Conveyancing Association (CA) has appointed two new directors to its board. Rhodri Howells and Samantha Strong have been appointed to these roles and will start working with the other board members and executive team across the range of CA workstreams. Howells is currently head of legal practice at Sort Legal. He has held this role since January 2022 and is responsible for all four Sort offices across the country. Strong is head of conveyancing and head of legal practice at Eden Conveyancing, where she has worked since October 2021.

Amy Colton has been appointed as senior operations manager at ONP Solicitors. As part of her new role, Colton will lead the firm’s newly launched Cardiff office. Colton has held several senior roles at Premier Property Lawyers and Countrywide, including deputy and senior manager positions, and will lead the Cardiff office after several years of remote work. Her immediate focus in the role is on recruiting experienced conveyancers to shape a new office and bring expertise to the firm.
