Coadjute confirmed as latest Conveyancing Association member

The Conveyancing Association (CA) has announced that Coadjute is joining the trade body as a new affiliate member.

Coadjute is a blockchain network for the UK property market that enables the existing software used by conveyancers, estate agents, mortgage brokers and lenders to become interoperable.

This allows the parties involved in a property transaction to synchronise and share progress updates, property information, digital identities, and payments.

By streamlining processes, the CA suggested that Coadjute is reducing the administrative challenges facing conveyancers in a secure network which minimises the amount of data and documents they deal with daily.

Coadjute partner lead – conveyancing, Cécile Papin, said: “We are extremely proud that Coadjute has been welcomed as an affiliate member of The CA. It’s an exciting prospect to be working closely with the conveyancing industry’s leading trade body, whose members share our commitment to bringing trust to every transaction and making buying and selling property a truly collaborative experience.

“We’re in the midst of rolling out the Coadjute network to estate agents, conveyancers and brokers throughout the UK, enabling them to work together from within their existing systems and we know that affiliate membership of The Conveyancing Association will further accelerate this process, producing tangible benefits across the profession.”

The Conveyancing Association non-executive chair, Nicky Heathcote, added: “We are very pleased to welcome Coadjute as our newest affiliate member, and we are looking forward to introducing them to our other member firms and seeing them present and take a full part in our events calendar throughout the year.

“All our affiliate members play a very important role in the Association and offer a great deal of insight and resource particularly in terms of helping us drive our workstreams and objectives.

“By joining the CA, Coadjute can also increase its profile, while placing itself at the heart of the conveyancing world, meeting and networking with the leading figures in our industry. I have no doubt that Coadjute will add a great deal to the Association in the months and years ahead.”

Coadjute will be taking part in future CA events taking place throughout 2022.
