SortRefer launches fixed-price remortgage product

SortRefer has launched a new fixed-price remortgage conveyancing product which encompasses all fees required for a straightforward freehold remortgage in England and Wales.

Available now on the SortRefer portal for £349, intermediary customers must be registered to quote and instruct the product.

SortRefer, the online portal for intermediaries, has featured their range of fixed-price remortgage products for several years, traditionally including a BACS payment as part of the package.

Given recent feedback from their customers, however, SortRefer has created a new product that includes a telegraphic transfer fee – in reaction to the many lenders requiring this method of payment for the redemption of the existing mortgage.

Sort Group CEO, Kevin Tunnicliffe, commented: “We always strive to base our product offering on the need in the marketplace and take feedback very seriously.

“To create this product was a no brainer. It complements our already successful fixed price product range and allows our brokers and their customers a fully transparent product, all fees included.”
