Second Woodford fund experiences mass redemptions

Another of Neil Woodford’s funds, the Income Focus fund, has shrunk by more than £100m in less than two weeks, with Hargreaves Lansdown withdrawing £45m.

According to data from Morningstar, assets in the fund have fallen to £371.3m from £494.2m figure recorded at the end of May, suggesting that the fallout from Woodford’s flagship fund is impacting the investment manager’s other funds.

Since the suspension of Woodford’s largest fund, the share price of his Income Focus fund has plummeted more than 16 per cent, as a result of its close ties wo Woodford.
