Precise app accessed over 4,000 times in first year

Precise has revealed that its app has been accessed over 4,000 times in its first 12 months.

The lender said the key objective of the app was to provide registered brokers with a number of time saving features to ensure they had access to the most up-to-date case information at their fingertips.

Precise, which is part of OSB Group, found that over 70% of its app users received push notifications, providing them with real time updates on the go.

The specialist lender has also seen a pattern of users out of hours and over weekends, helping brokers access case updates at a time that suits them.

Precise said that its broker feedback has provided “great insight” on how they are utilising the app and where it is making a difference.

Group managing director for mortgages at savings at OSB Group, Jon Hall, said: "We are delighted with the results and feedback since the launch of our app, it’s great to hear how much of a time-saver the app has been for brokers.

"In Q1 this year, the best ever performance for bridging case completions was recorded. This is echoed in our own findings with a higher percentage of brokers using the app for bridging case updates - really showing its worth with the most time critical cases."

Operation director at Mortgage Lane, Seren Norton, added: "The Precise app is innovative and provides a seamless process, which is incredibly convenient for case updates and criteria on the move. It’s something I would definitely recommend to others as it allows our whole team at Mortgage Lane to get updates on cases so much quicker than using desktop."
