Old Mill and Brook Financial join Kinbrook Group

Financial planning and accounting firm Old Mill and its outsourced finance division Brook Financial have merged with Kinbrook Group.

Both Old Mill and Brook Financial will continue to operate under their respective brands, while leadership, client relationships, and team structures will be maintained.

Kinbrook Group is a wealth management, accounting, legal and professional advisory group of regional divisions, with Old Mill to act as the group’s ‘anchor’ in the South West.

The acquisition of Old Mill and Brook Financial, for an undisclosed sum, forms part of the group’s ambition to build a UK-wide group of regional businesses.

Kinbrook Group said the merger would give Old Mill and Brook Financial access to national infrastructure, shared innovation, group-wide collaboration, and broader expertise.

Old Mill has more than 350 staff across five offices in the South West, serving approximately 5,000 clients.

“Joining Kinbrook marks an important step in our journey – one that enables us to continue delivering the personal, long-standing service our clients value, while investing more in our people and the future,” said Old Mill CEO, Mark Neath.

“The partnership strengthens our ability to grow with purpose, broaden our services, and collaborate with like-minded firms. We’re proud to be Kinbrook’s South West hub and excited about the next chapter for Old Mill and Brook Financial.”

Kinbrook Group CEO, Ian Symes, added: “Old Mill is an outstanding business with deep regional roots and a clear vision for the future.

“Their team shares Kinbrook’s commitment to people, excellence and long-term client relationships. This partnership marks a key moment for the group as we establish a strong presence in the South West and continue to grow with firms that lead in their regions.”

Kinbrook Group’s founding regional hubs include Duncan & Toplis and Beavis Morgan Group and their related businesses including Moorfields Advisory, with these two hubs having 19 offices across the UK.

With the addition of Old Mill, the number of Kinbrook Group offices has risen to 24.
