United Trust Bank (UTB) has made two new appointments to its bridging servicing team, adding Adetayo Odukoya and Tony Rose to the roles of head of serving – bridging and servicing manager respectively. Odukoya has worked in senior service roles for almost two decades with experience at companies including Santander, Acenden, and most recently, Pepper UK, where he worked as arrears and litigation manager. He will work to support the division’s wider senior management team and his immediate objectives include improving in-life customer service levels, and creating and implementing a strong framework for efficient loan journey management. Odukayo will be supported by Rose, who has worked in UTB’s bridging division since 2016 as a client liaison officer and most recently as operation and project analyst.

Newcastle Intermediaries has enhanced its large loan criteria and has launched a range of products to support the proposition. The lender has increased its maximum loan amount from £2m to £3m, and for borrowers looking to downsize via the sale of a mortgage property, the interest only option on the lender’s large loan range is available at up to 60% LTV from 50%. Each fixed product requires a £1,499 fee.
