Foundation Home Loans has launched a new extra range of products within its F2 buy-to-let range covering more unusual properties and landlord borrower needs. The intermediary-only specialist lender’s F2 BTL proposition is available for both portfolio and non-portfolio landlord borrowers with some historic credit blips, with the new F2 extra products covering extra large HMO properties of nine bedrooms or more, with fixed rates starting at 7.04% at up to 65% LTV. The new products also covers holiday lets and extra-large portfolios, both starting at 6.94% at 70% LTV, and extra-large loans, starting at 6.89% at up to 70% LTV.

Standard Life has announced the launch of its new trustee accelerator programme, in partnership with the Pension Management Institute (PMI). The two-year programme, which will start in April 2024, is designed to support increased diversity in the trustee community and is open to all, including those with no previous experience. The programme will provide participants with a wealth of knowledge and insight into the world of pensions, as well as the qualifications needed to become trustee ready, including an award in pension trusteeship and a trustee ready certificate. Through the programme, Standard Life has said it is committed to driving change and creating opportunities for people from different backgrounds to become trustee ready.

Just Refer, the new referral portal for Just Mortgages and Just Wealth, has supported brokers in referring more than 400 clients for wider financial advice. The portal, which was launched in the summer, enables brokers at Just Mortgages to refer clients to Just Wealth for pensions, savings and investments advice, as well as support with protection, adding brokers in meeting their Consumer Duty obligations. The platform has since expanded, allowing those without the necessary licenses to refer clients to a Just Mortgages broker for business protection, equity release and commercial advice. Through its relationship with Just Mortgages, Just Wealth has already exceeded last year’s total of over 1,200 referrals from brokers and is forecast to close the year 155% ahead of its 2022’’s referral total.
