Metro Bank has expanded its criteria for joint borrower, sole proprietor (JBSP) mortgages to include non-relatives as well as direct family members. This change widens the family group that can now support people on the property ladder, such as godparents and close family friends. The lender’s JBSP mortgage already allows up to 95% LTV for purchases with up to four named applicants on the mortgage.

Molo Finance has appointed Matthew Kimber as its new chief executive officer. He joined Molo in November 2023 as chief operating officer (COO), bringing over 20 years’ experience in banking and finance to the role.
