LiveMore has appointed James Green as its key account manager for the Midlands. The appointment comes as the business continues to expand its reach and support for brokers across the UK. Green brings nearly two decades of experience in financial services to the role at the mortgage lender for people aged 50 to 90 plus. He started his career in banking before specialising in mortgage lending and intermediary relationships and has worked with a number of building society lenders.

Darlington Building Society has expanded the criteria on its professionals range to include more key worker professions. The range is open to all nationalities, including foreign nationals with a visa working in professions including the emergency services and the armed forces, as well as teachers and lecturers. The society will accept 100% of allowances and overtime for those roles subject to a six-month track record. The range is also available to those working on skilled work visas, health and social care visas, spousal visas, BNO visas and ancestral visas. The criteria is available at up to 95% LTV with no minimum income criteria, no minimum time in the UK and no credit scoring.

LendInvest Mortgages has reduced rates across its buy-to-let (BTL) range by 0.10%. As a result, its lowest rate now starts from 3.44% on a two-year fixed term. LendInvest’s BTL range include expat products, bridge-to-lets and product transfers. The lender will also contribute up to £500 towards legal costs for all bridge-to-let loans.
