Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has appointed Lorenzo Satchell as its new sales director in its bridging division. As part of the role, he will be responsible for managing the bridging sales team as well as overseeing all originations and intermediary business partners that work with the bank for bridging finance solutions. Satchell joined HTB in January this year as head of sales for bridging, bringing 30 years’ experience in the property finance sector. Previously, he served at Together for 15 years, where he most recently held the role of specialist key account manager for London and the South East of England.

Foundation Home Loans has cut rates across its buy-to-let (BTL) core product range by up to 0.9% and also reintroduced two-year fixed rate products across its F1, F2 and standard HMO range. Rates across the core product range will now start from 6.59%, with the new two-year fixed rate products starting from 7.24% with a 1% product fee. Reductions from the intermediary-only lender include improved rates at a higher LTV, with up to 0.15% off at 95% LTV, and the biggest discount of 0.20% for borrowers with a 25% deposit. From tomorrow, a two-year fix up to 75% LTV is available for house purchase at 5.94%, down from 6.14%, which comes with a £1,495 fee and £250 cashback.
