Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has appointed Annie Crust as its new business development manager for the Midlands in its specialist mortgages division. Crust brings over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry to the role, with the bulk of her time being spent in the specialist mortgage market, working for both brokers and lenders. In her new role, Crust will be responsible for broker relationship management, understanding each broker’s business and client demographic and supporting them with their new business enquiries. She will also be working with new potential introducers to understand how HTB can help them and create new opportunities for both the broker and the bank.

Paradigm has announced the addition of a new cybersecurity test module on its CPD test zone. The new cybersecurity test by the mortgage, protection and compliance services proposition has been designed to help firms understand a range of related issues. These include the most common types of cyberattacks, how to protect their business and ways they can prevent this happening with low-cost solutions. The cybersecurity module and test zone, which covers areas including anti-bribery and whistleblowing money laundering and Consumer Duty, is suitable for all advisory firm staff, but Paradigm has said that it will be of specific interest to senior managers who are responsible for protection the firm against data protection breaches and financial crime.

One Mortgage System has appointed Jodie Andrews as its new head of marketing. She joins the single-input enquiry to completion processing platform for brokers and lenders from Spicerhaart Financial Services, where she was the marketing manager. Andrews also formerly worked as global marketing manager at Crittall Ltd. In her new role, Andrews will build and implement a marketing strategy in line with ambitious business growth goals, in addition to supporting current and future customer journeys via digital and social media channels. She is a specialist in financial services marketing, brand positioning and working within Financial Conduct Authority guidelines to protect business from breaches in Consumer Duty, GDPR and advertising standards.
