Bennison Brown and Stonebridge extend partnership

Stonebridge has extended its partnership with mortgage and protection broker, Bennison Brown.

The extension will take the relationship between the two businesses to more than a decade.

Bennison Brown was founded in 2016 by partners, Michael Bennison and Andrew Brown. It employs 10 advisers and has completed over £1.2bn in lending in that time.

Stonebridge’s mortgage and protection network has arranged more than £15bn of lending in the last year, and is currently working with more than 1,300 advisors.

Bennison Brown said its decision to renew a long-term agreement with Stonebridge reflects an alignment in culture and ambition, as well as the network’s track record in supporting appointed representatives to scale their business.

The extension follows Stonebridge’s renewal of its long-term partnership with The Mortgage Shop in September.

Bennison stated: "Stonebridge has been a fantastic partner for nearly a decade and therefore our decision to renew was an easy one.

"When looking for a network back in 2016, we needed someone that was not just strong on compliance but also had the tools, experience, and support to help us grow as a business, while continuing to match our ambition. In that sense, Stonebridge remains the perfect home for us."

Chief executive at Stonebridge, Rob Clifford, concluded: "Michael and Andrew have built a well-earned reputation for professionalism, ambition and outstanding customer care. It has been our absolute pleasure to support them on their journey.

"We’re therefore thrilled to be continuing on that journey with the team at Bennison Brown under this new long-term agreement as we continue to invest in our infrastructure, technology, and service for the benefit of all our members."
