Glenhawk has launched a new ‘Spring Promotion’, offering free valuation and legal fees across its product range. The promotion applies to the specialist short-term bridging finance firm’s range of regulated and unregulated bridging loans, with the lender reimbursing valuation and legal costs up to £3,500 on completion. The initiative has been introduced to provide support to borrowers in tackling upfront costs on their transactions. Glenhawk said the promotion reflects its commitment to delivering value to its broker network.

Together has appointed Kristi Capaldi as corporate sales director, covering Teesside and North Yorkshire. She has joined the specialist lender from Metro Bank, where she held the position of local director for the North East. In her new role, Capaldi will work to build strong relationships with brokers and corporate clients, delivering tailored lending solutions and supporting regional growth. Her appointment is part of Together’s plans to strengthen its regional presence with strategic hires and helping customers realise their property ambitions.

Mansfield Building Society has launched a new mortgage broker portal in a step forward in its commitment to blend specialist human-led lending with modern technology designed around the needs of intermediaries. The platform delivers a more efficient experience for brokers from day one, including streamlined DIP and application journeys to reduce duplication and improve accuracy, affordability checks build into the DIP stage, real time case updates via email and SMS for brokers and their clients, and improved visibility across the full application lifecycle. As development continues, the society plan to integrate its acceptance criteria and product rules directly into the system to provide accurate early assurance that an application will progress.
