Monmouthshire Building Society has gone live with its Phoebus solution partnership to provide mortgage account servicing to its borrowers.
Following a discovery phase, the implementation commenced in Q4 2025, providing integration with MQube to onboard completions utilising the Phoebus origination API.
The initial phase will see an onboarding of the society’s range of mortgages to the platform, including residential, development, buy-to-let and holiday-let products.
As a result, The Monmouthshire now has access to the full suite of Phoebus’ APIs as part of the solution, with Phoebus providing the society with "significant ROI" by providing operational savings through account automation across its mortgage operations.
The integration includes all areas of servicing ranging from basic tasks through to more advanced requirements including arrears management and special servicing. In future phases, this will also include Monmouthshire’s savings operations.
The next phases of the transformation programme will be to migrate all existing mortgage and savings accounts onto the Phoebus solution using the same API technology.
Chief executive officer at Phoebus, Adam Oldfield, stated: "From the initial tender process, Monmouthshire has been a fantastic client to partner with, and both organisations have worked efficiently to get the solution live to plan and budget. The multi-million pound investment we have made in our mortgage and savings product, including the ability to migrate books of any size accurately and efficiently, means we are a great fit for any Society considering moving to modern SaaS technology, backed up by proven, referenceable experience."
Chief operating officer at Monmouthshire Building Society, Dawn Gunter, added: "It is fantastic to work with a core provider that delivers to plan and brings the capability and expertise to support the Society on its digital journey, enabling greater automation and more efficient day-to-day operations. We look forward to a great partnership with Phoebus for many years to come."
