Together has appointed Arun Jeyerajah as corporate sales director for London and the South, as it looks to expand its regional presence.

In his new role, he will be responsible for promoting the specialist lender’s products, including bridging loans, commercial mortgages and development finance, to professional sector introducers and direct customers across the region.

Jeyerajah is a banking and corporate real estate expert, bringing more than two decades of experience in financial services to the role.

GB Bank has joined the Financial Intermediary & Broker Association (FIBA) as a lender partner.

The specialist bank joins the association’s growing group of lender and funder partners, which work with FIBA’s professional finance intermediaries across the residential mortgage, commercial finance and wide specialist finance sectors.

As a lender partner, GB Bank will have the opportunity to engage directly with FIBA members through the association’s regional meetings, events and annual conference, as well as contribute insight, updates and commentary to its wider membership.

Absolute Financial Group has announced that the Sale, Greater Manchester IFA firm, Platinum Independent Financial Services, is the latest firm to join the group.

The acquisition stems from the long-standing relationships between the management team of Absolute and Platinum, and marks Absolute’s expansion in the North West, following four acquisitions in the region in May this year.

Platinum is the fifteenth firm across England to join the consolidator since it was established in December.

Finova has appointed Mark Arnold as non-executive director as it looks to enter its next phase of growth and innovation.

He brings more than 26 years of senior leadership and board-level experience across financial services, having worked across mortgages, banking, business leadership and growth.

Arnold most recently served as head of savings and mortgages at Barclays UK, following almost seven years as CEO at Kensington Mortgages. He also held CEO positions at GE Capital across Southern and Eastern Europe and Asia.
