Market Harborough Building Society has reduced its minimum loan size from £200,000 to £100,000 across its core bridge range.

The change gives brokers greater flexibility when placing straightforward bridging finance cases, while continuing to benefit from the specialist lender’s wide bridging offer for more complex scenarios up to £5m.

Market Harborough’s core range is designed for regulated bridging finance scenarios between £100,000 and £1m for clients wanting a term up to 12 months, with variable monthly rates available up to 70% LTV.

Accord Mortgages has cut rates on its residential new business product range to offer better value to brokers and their clients.

The range refresh sees reductions of 0.10% applied to all of the intermediary-only lender’s fixed rate mortgage products.

As a result, its five-year remortgage fix starts at 5.25% at 65% LTV, which comes with a £1,495 fee and £500 cashback. Its fee-free two-year purchase fix is available from 5.90% at 90% LTV with £300 cashback, and its fee-free five-year first-time buyer fix starts from 6.78% with a £5,000 deposit. All products come with a free standard valuation.
