Harry Williams has been appointed as head of finance and treasury at Hope Capital Property Finance.

He is an ACA-qualified accountant with group reporting and financial management experience, gained through senior finance roles at INEOS Inovyn and Victrex. His experience spans financial reporting, audit, working capital, cash flow and treasury, working across complex international businesses and demanding reporting cycles.

Williams’ expertise and commercial approach will support the specialist lender as it continues to scale, with the ability to work to tight deadlines in the bridging finance market.

Precise has launched a new residential mortgage platform, combining enhanced technology with specialist underwriting expertise to deliver a more efficient application journey.

During the platform’s pilot, average application-to-offer times fell by almost 30% against the lender’s previous residential platform, with application-to-completion times down by around a third. Some cases progressed from submission to formal offer within 24 hours.

Precise’s platform has introduced a range of enhancements designed to simplify the submissions and assessment of cases while better reflecting borrowers’ individual circumstances, such as support for adverse credit assessment, joint applications and more refined product segmentation.

United Trust Bank (UTB) Structured Property Finance has provided a £16.2m investment facility to refinance a £29.9m mixed-use residential and office property in South London.

The transaction was introduced to Andy Thomson in UTB’s Real Estate Finance division by Gordon Clements of Morgan Allen Property Surveyors on behalf of the Patel family. The Patel family has a substantial real estate portfolio and has owned the property for more than 35 years with the site, having subsequently redeveloped the site to create 24 residential apartments and approximately 18,500 sq ft of office accommodation.

The deal on the £16.2m investment facility has been agreed on a 61% LTV deal on a five-year term.
