Air LLA announces Just as latest ambassador firm

Air Later Life Academy (LLA) has announced specialist financial services group, Just Group, as its latest ambassador firm.

Just Group will work with the academy and its members in order to provide content, education and support across the widest range of retirement product areas available.

The retirement specialist will also work with Air LLA to deliver a series of corporate and commercial benefits to members who advise on its products to their clients.

Air LLA, part of Answers in Retirement Group (Air Group), was launched in 2014 and provides later life advisers access to training and sales support designed to improve knowledge and increase business across product areas such as equity release, long-term care and annuities.

Air Group CEO, Stuart Wilson, commented: “Just Group is a powerhouse provider within the retirement financial services sector, and we are delighted to have them on board as our latest academy ambassador.

“Given the depth and breadth of products covered and the knowledge it has, Just Group is the perfect partner for the academy and we are looking forward to working closely together in order to help develop the content and resources available to academy member firms.

“This is a very exciting time for the later life sector with product choice growing and consumer demand remaining strong; however, we need an advisory sector that can deliver holistic advice across all manner of product areas in order to get the best outcomes for clients. Working with Just Group, we’ll be able to offer real commercial value across many later life client needs and we believe this is a significant moment for the academy and our members.”

Just Group, a FTSE-listed UK financial services company in the individual retirement income, care and defined benefit de-risking markets, has been trusted to manage over £19bn of customers’ retirement savings – while helping customers release over £4.6bn from their properties.

The group provides a wide range of products that include advice and professional services to individual customers, financial intermediaries, corporate clients and pension scheme trustees.

Just Group specialist account director, Jonathan McCaffrey, added: “Helping clients in later life has always been a core part of an adviser’s role and we can expect to see continued growth in this area.

“Initiatives such as Air LLA will be instrumental in helping advisers keep pace with developments in the market and helping them meet their clients’ needs, and Just is delighted to become an ambassador for Air LLA.”
